At Penrhiw Farm near Goodwick, Pembrokeshire, Alan and Philip make Pencw Cheese using milk from the farm’s organic Jersey herd. Cheesemaking began in 2025, building on a longstanding family dairy with a calf-at-foot system that keeps calves with their mothers. The range includes Jemima Blodau Gwyn, a soft Brie-style cheese; Jemima Blue, a blue cheese; and Jemima Wild Filly, a Caerphilly-style cheese with wild garlic. The cheeses are produced in small batches at the coastal farm, drawing on the distinctive character of its Jersey milk.
