More than 170 traders set for Cardiff Food and Drink Festival 2026

More than 170 traders will gather at Cardiff Bay from 3–5 July for the free Cardiff Food and Drink Festival, bringing together Welsh producers, farmers’ market stalls, street food, drinks, crafts and live music.

One of Wales' biggest celebrations of food and drink is set to return to Cardiff Bay next month, with more than 170 traders due to take part in the Cardiff Food and Drink Festival.
Taking place from July 3-5 at Roald Dahl Plass, the free event has become a highlight of the city's summer calendar, attracting thousands of visitors with its combination of artisan producers, street food vendors, live music and independent businesses.
This year's festival will once again feature three main areas – the Producers Fair, Farmers Market and Street Food Piazza – giving visitors the chance to sample everything from Welsh cheeses and spirits to freshly prepared international dishes.

Welsh producers among those taking part
The Producers Fair will showcase a wide range of artisan food and drink businesses. Welsh names confirmed for the event include Barti Rum, Hensol Castle Distillery, Llanfaes Dairy Ice Cream and Snowdonia Cheese Company.
Sweet treats will also feature prominently, with Ridiculously Rich by Alana, Flapjackery and Zio's Gelateria among those set to attend.
Meanwhile, the Farmers Market will bring together more than 50 stalls selling preserves, honey, confectionery, wines and spirits. Welsh businesses due to appear include Bee Welsh Honey, Fat Bottom Welsh Cakes, Gower Preserves, Gwatkin Cider, Pembrokeshire Chilli Farm, Spirit of Wales and Welsh Soul.
Many of these producers have become familiar names to visitors over the years and reflect the growing reputation of Welsh food and drink.
Street food from around the world
The Street Food Piazza promises a wide variety of freshly prepared dishes, with traders serving cuisines from across Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Visitors can expect everything from tacos and dumplings to gourmet burgers and churros, while Welsh favourites including The Grazing Shed, HOGi HOGi HOGi and The Welsh Creperie Co are also scheduled to appear.
The Street Food Piazza and bars will remain open until 10pm on Friday and Saturday evenings, making the festival one of Cardiff Bay's biggest summer attractions.
More than just food
Alongside the traders, visitors can enjoy a full programme of live music throughout the weekend. A Crafters Market curated by Craft*folk will also return, offering handmade gifts and crafts.
