Pie Queen makes savoury pies and sweet pastries at its bakery in Brynmenyn, near Bridgend. The business began in a farmhouse kitchen and uses beef and lamb from its family farm for some fillings. Its beef pie combines shredded beef cooked slowly overnight with rich gravy. Other baked dishes include beef-and-potato pies and ham-and-leek pies, alongside freshly prepared lasagne. The team also makes custard slices and Manchester tarts, with pastry and fillings prepared on site.
