Welsh Shepherd Spirits makes small-batch gin and blends rum-based spirits near Knighton in Powys. Its London Dry Gin uses spring water from Gwernaffel Farm, while Dragon's Blush Gin combines hibiscus, pink peppercorn, meadowsweet and rosehip. The range also includes Protector Gin with rooibos among its botanicals, Ranger Rum, and a spiced rum blended from South American and Barbadian rums with spices and Welsh oak. Protector Gin and Ranger Rum come in paper-based Frugal Bottles, with 50% of profits from these two products pledged to Care for Wild, a South African rhino sanctuary.
