The Spirit of Wales is a Newport distillery making Steeltown Welsh gin and vodka, Dragon’s Breath Welsh rum and absinthe. Founded in 2021, it produces spirits in South Wales, with Steeltown linked to the steel towns of South Wales and Dragon’s Breath used for the rum range. Limited-edition distillery bottlings sit alongside the main brands, with Welsh gin, vodka, rum and absinthe all produced from the Newport distillery.
