The Powys preserve maker has won gold at the World Marmalade Awards 2026 for a colourful four-citrus marmalade inspired by Welsh textile heritage.

Radnor Preserves is celebrating after its Welsh Tapestry Marmalade won gold at the World Marmalade Awards 2026.
The marmalade is made with limes, ruby red grapefruit, oranges and lemons, creating a bright four-citrus preserve with different coloured peels running through the jar. Radnor Preserves describes the recipe as a tribute to the textile heritage of Wales, with the citrus colours helping shape both the look and flavour of the marmalade.
Judges praised the preserve for its appearance, flavour and balance, describing it as: “Very pretty with the different coloured peels — so attractive.”
They also highlighted the way the citrus fruits work together: “Very clever harmony of the four citrus. Each can be tasted in their own right, but also blend together with a lovely zing.”
Another judge called it a: “Dreamy jar of marmalade! Delicious.”
Welsh Tapestry Marmalade is also listed by Dalemain as an Artisan Gold Winner. The Dalemain description gives the marmalade a particularly warm Welsh note:
“The lilting peace of Wales flows through Joanna’s recipes and this is the comfort food of comfort foods for the most keen of marmalade lovers. Run don’t walk…!”
Dalemain describes the marmalade as a recipe of limes, lemons, ruby red grapefruit and navel oranges.
The Gold award adds to Radnor Preserves’ long record of recognition for handmade marmalades, preserves, chutneys and jellies.
Welsh Tapestry Marmalade has also been named winner of the Marmalade Category at the Cheese Board Awards 2025, giving the Powys producer another award-winning preserve in its collection.
For Radnor Preserves, the latest win is a bright moment for a Welsh marmalade that brings together craft, citrus flavour and a clear sense of Welsh story.
