South Caernarvon Creameries is a farmer-owned dairy co-operative in Gwynedd making Welsh cheese and butter from milk supplied by its member farms. Its range includes mild, mature and vintage Cheddar, Welsh Slate Cavern Aged Cheddar, Welsh Caerphilly, Maplewood Smoked Cheddar and Welsh salted butter. The creamery also keeps traditional cheesemaking methods in use, including hand salting on open tables before cheeses are matured and graded on site. Cheese leads the range, with butter alongside it.
