Rhymney Brewery in Blaenavon brews traditional real ales and lager, including Rhymney Dark, Export, Golden Ale, Bitter, Hobby Horse, Bevan’s Bitter and Helles Lager. Rhymney Dark is a full-bodied ale with coffee and chocolate notes, while Golden Ale is made with six malts and Fuggles and First Gold hops. Helles is brewed with three German noble hop varieties and lagered for four weeks. The brewery also supplies cask ale to pubs and produces bottled beer and beer in five-litre mini kegs.
