Quay Fresh & Frozen Foods processes and exports shellfish from its site at the old Frondolau quarry at the southern end of New Quay harbour. The business handles whelks, crab and lobster, with live product held in on-site tanks prior to processing. The site has operated as a seafood processing facility for over forty years, working directly with catches landed on Cardigan Bay.
