Astrid’s Petite Cuisine is a French boulangerie on Whitchurch Road in Cardiff, making breads, viennoiseries and pastries from its Gabalfa base. The range includes baguettes, croissants and pain au chocolat, alongside pain suisse, cinnamon buns and richer pastry specials that change with the bake. Started after the first lockdown, the business stays closest to French-style bakery lines, with laminated pastries and bread forming the core of what it makes in Cardiff.
