We’ve got some really exciting news to share…

We’re absolutely thrilled to say that Welsh Homestead Smokery has been awarded Highly Commended: Scale-up Company at the Wales Food & Drink Awards 2026 ✨

It was a fantastic evening celebrating the very best in Welsh food and drink, and while we couldn’t attend in person, we’re genuinely proud to be recognised alongside so many brilliant producers across Wales.

This award means a lot to us. Every product we make is still rooted in the same hands-on craft and attention to flavour that we started with — even as we continue to scale the business and grow into more shops, delis, and hospitality partners across the UK.

Growth is exciting, but it’s important to us that nothing gets lost along the way: proper quality, proper care, and proper smoky flavour.

And of course, founder Claire had to mark the moment properly with a celebratory shot alongside the award 😄
