Glaslyn shares a warm welcome from Beddgelert

Hi - we’re Glaslyn – award-winning ice cream makers and homemade pizza bakers from the legendary mountain village of Beddgelert in Eryri National Park.

We are a proud and adventurous family-run business of over 55 years and are regularly humbled to be considered one of the highlights of people’s ‘Beddgelert Experience’.

Whether that’s a stroll around Gelert’s Grave with one of our famous ice creams or sorbets, sharing a made-from-scratch Neapolitan-style pizza with friends or family after a day in the hills, or hopping off the saddle for a locally roasted coffee and homemade cake – we exist to make your day that extra bit special.

Welshness is woven into our fabric, and we strive to showcase that heritage wherever possible across our menu and recipes, brought to life by our amazing team of local staff on hand to add to our informal good-mood-food vibe.

And let’s not forget the pooches…Beddgelert is a dog’s paradise too…and we’re always delighted to welcome your four-legged family with equal enthusiasm. In fact, we’ve even designed an exclusive range of Gelert retail products from organic UK- made kitchenware to beer and chocolate bars in partnership with other outstanding local food producers.

We never take for granted the support we receive every year, especially in the wake of such tough economic times for everyone, including hospitality businesses.
